Deputy Manager:
Where will you be working:
Jack & Jones is one of Europe’s leading producers of Menswear with more than 1000 stores across 38 countries. We are currently looking to recruit a deputy manager for our store in Carlisle, the Lanes Shopping centre. The ideal candidate will be a fashion forward individual who is looking to build a career in Retail.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting the store manager with the day to day running of the store.
  • Required to lead by example at all times and maintain a sales driven mind-set
  • Responsible for carrying out team “pit stop” meetings, motivating the team to provide a high level of customer service and also toward achieving sales targets.
  • Responsible for assisting store manager with product training, Jack & Jones service concept training and the overall training and development of the team.
  • Liaising with both the store manager and the head office team in relation to certain aspects of the business.

Necessary Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role/in a fast paced fashion retail environment is essential.
  • Proven track record of both motivating and managing a team.
  • Proven track record of achieving both sales targets & KPI’s.
  • Proven experience with regard to the training and development of a team.
  • A desire to succeed is also necessary.

Jon Richard is a leading ladies jewellery brand, operating as a concession in over 140 department stores throughout the UK Republic of Ireland and the Middle East. They are now looking to hire an exceptional Sales Consultant to join the fabulous team at the concession in Debenhams, Carlisle.

From you – They are looking for someone who will reflect a passion for the ladies jewellery whilst providing an excellent experience to the customers. You will thrive off working in a bustling retail environment and have a flair for tailoring the Jon Richard experience for each customer.

This role will include: promoting sales of jewellery items, merchandising, customer service, cash handling and general housekeeping. The Role is for 5.5 hours on weekends.
