The Lanes Shopping Centre welcomes all visitors and wants everyone to have the best experience possible. The Lanes offers easy access in and around the centre, clear marked parking bays and specialist services. Our staff are also on hand should any customer require further assistance whilst they are shopping with us.
The centre is easily accessible by car and public transport, with both the train and bus station located less than 0.5 miles away. Both are a short walk with the bus station only 5 minutes away and the railway station approximately 10 minutes. The Lanes also has their own car park with designated disabled parking bays.
Disabled Parking is available on level 2 of The Lanes car park. There are a total of 20 disabled bays, which are highlighted in blue and located close to the lifts. Lifts from this level provide access to the central retail space within the centre.
Parent & Child Bays are available on level 1 and 2
The car park lifts provide access directly into the main central retail area of The Lanes. All of the shopping area within The Lanes is on one level and any larger stores over more than one floor, including Primark and River Island have their own lifts.
Our disabled toilets are fully compliant with the latest health and safety standards. The toilets are available on the same level as the library, which can be accessed by the lifts.
The changing places disabled toilet includes a lifting host and changing facilities. Access is via radar key which can be obtained from the library reception desk. These facilities are managed by the library and are accessible when the library is open.
