Join us for One Great Fun Day on Saturday 29 June!

We will be hosting a day of fun, games, workshops and more as we raise money local charity, Cash for Kids and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

Join in our slime and bath bomb making for only £2 per activity. Sessions will be in the old Hawkins unit at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.

Get creative in Centre Square with Artventurers and for only £2 per activity, you could make unicorn charm bracelets, unicorn foam masks, dragon racers or dragon eggs!

Practice your circus skills with Entertrain in the old Hawkins unit. Visit us from 10.30am, 12pm and 1.30pm and for £2, you could take part in a hour long circus skills workshop!

Visit the Big Fun Bus, take time out and let your kids go wild in this unique soft play for only £3!

The amazing Madeleine Mitchell will be here from 10am – 4pm. Get your little ones face painted for only £3!

Also joining us are the amazing Bruce and Lukes, Grasmere Gingerbread, Pie Demand, Truly Scrumptious and XO chocolates selling their fabulous products on the day!

Please note that for Saturday 29 June, we will be charging a minimum donation of £1 for entry to our play area.

Join us as we celebrate Environment Day with a range of FREE fun-filled activities this half term!

Tuesday 28 May – Trade in your plastic bag for a cotton shopper and decorate it for free with Artventurers.

Wednesday 29 May – Join in our nature quest with story telling, crafts, games and more with Rainbow Jelly.

Thursday 30 May – Reduce, reuse and recycle and make your own sun catcher with Artventurers.

These events will run from 11am – 3pm in our Park in the City in Centre Square.

The Easter holidays are just around the corner! Keep the kids entertained with our Mad as a Hatter activities and join us on an Alice in Wonderland adventure!

On 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11 April from 11am – 3pm we will be running FREE fun filled activities including:

  • Tuesday – Create your own Mad Hatter hat with Artventurers
  • Wednesdays – Mad Hatter tea parties including make your own potion with Iced Gem
  • Thursdays – Story telling, games and more with Rainbow Jelly including a visit from a very special lady who fell down a rabbit hole!

These events will be held in the unit next to Schuh on Grapes Lane.

They are offered on a first come, first served basis.

 

 

Join us in Centre Square this February half term for FREE Lego themed fun!

From 11am until 3pm on Tuesday 19 February until Thursday 21 February, we are hosting Lego activities to help keep your little ones entertained this half term.

  • Tuesday 19 February – Join us as we welcome back Artventurers and you will get to decorate your own Lego character
  • Wednesday 20 February –  Rainbow Jelly will be here with Lego themed games, tower building competitions and much more
  • Thursday 21 February – We will be joined by Iced Gem events with Lego games, building and even the chance to decorate your own Lego mask!

Thinking of what to do with the kids this half terms?

With pancake day, Valentine’s and Chinese New Year all in one week, we have plenty of FREE, fun filled activities to keep the kids entertained this half term.

All our activities will be ran in the old Millets unit on Peascod from 11am – 3pm from Monday 12th – Friday 16th February.

  • Monday – Decorate a heart magnet and make your own Valentine’s Day card with Artventurers.
  • Tuesday – Pancake fun, decorate your own pancake and enter our competition. The most creative pancake will win a £25 voucher to spend at ToysrUs!
  • Wednesday – Join Rainbow Jelly Productions as they transport you into a fairytale world of dressing up, story telling and there will also be a visit from two very special people to help entertain. Story telling will run at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.
  • Thursday – Decorate your own beaded hanging heart with Artventurers.
  • Friday – Make your own Chinese Lantern with local artist Helen Tuck.
