Name Our Giant Bear

Have you seen our giant Christmas bear?

We need your help to give our bear a name.

Take part in this in centre competition for a chance to win vouchers to spend at The Lanes Shopping Centre this Christmas.

To enter, simply pick up an entry card from the bear in Central Square, complete it and post in the post box for a chance to win.

The winning entry will get to name the bear and also win £200 to spend at The Lanes. There are also two runners up prizes of £100 and £50 which will be drawn at random.

Rules, Terms & Conditions

1. The competition is will run from 9am on Saturday 27^th November to 4.30pm on Sunday 19th December. Entries outside of the period will not count. The Centre Management Team will choose the winning name for the first prize. Second and third prize winners will be selected at random via a prize draw.
2. To be eligible to enter the competition, you must complete all fields of the entry card and post into the competition post box within the dates specified. Fields include your name suggestion for the bear, your name, email address and/or telephone number. Entrants must be available via the contact information they have provided. If, after reasonable attempts, a winner cannot be contacted, that entrant’s participation in the competition ends and the next runner up will be awarded first prize.
3. There are three prizes available. First prize is £200, second is £100 and third is £50. These will be provided as gift cards for a store of the winners choice. The store must be located within The Lanes Shopping Centre, Carlisle. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances. The winners will be notified on Monday 20^th
4. The Lanes Shopping Centre’s decision as to entrants taking part and winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
5. If there are duplicates of a suggested name, and that name is shortlisted as the winning name, an entrant will be selected at random.
6. The first name of winners may be made public and photographs taken upon collection of your prize for promotional use by The Lanes Shopping Centre. Including but not exclusive to display on The Lanes Shopping Centre social media channels and website.
7. The Lanes Shopping Centre reserves the right to: (i) amend these terms and conditions including, but not limited to, opening and closing times; (ii) delete duplicate and fraudulent entries, as well as disqualify participants if we suspect any activity not deemed within the spirit of the competition has taken place.
8. The Lanes Shopping Centre reserves the right to alter, cancel or delay this competition without notice.
9. The Lanes Shopping Centre respects your privacy in accordance with the laws protecting personal data including without limitation the EU Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you provide personal data to The Lanes Shopping Centre in connection with this competition, The Lanes Shopping Centre will only process it in connection with the competition, for its record-keeping purposes and in connection with its activities that relate to it.
